Cohabitation/Prenuptial Agreements

Separation Agreements

Spousal Support

Upon the breakdown of a relationship, spousal support may be payable by one party to the other, depending on various circumstances. Parenting Time

The default position in BC is that each parent should have equal parenting time with their child(ren) unless exceptional circumstances exist. We will help you understand your rights and take necessary steps if court intervention is required.

Child Support

Child support is the right of the child. Depending on the parenting time arrangements, and each parent’s respective income, child support may be payable. We will help you understand how child support is calculated and ensure that a fair outcome is reached so that your child(ren) are adequately provided for.

Division of Property

The default position in BC is that all property owned by either party at the time of separation is subject to equal division, with certain exceptions for the consideration of excluded property. We will help you understand your entitlements while ensuring that fairness is achieved. We will also assist in effecting property division where necessary.
